AP Art has been one of the best classes I have taken- if not the best. It has been a class that I have learned so much in and thoroughly enjoyed. It has helped me to find what I truly love to do and that is art. I have never come out of a class feeling as accomplished as I did with this AP art class. There is not much I would change about this year. I feel that my techniques and patience towards art has grown the most. If someone would have told me I was going to be drawing portraits in graphite for my concentration a semester ago, I would have thought they were crazy. I learned more about proportions and shading values and I am so glad that I did what I did this year. I took risks that I never would have thought to have take, but I am so glad that I did. I really enjoyed working in pencil this semester, but through my art career I hope to be able to succeed with other mediums as well. I have always had an interest in water color, or paintings in general, so I hope to be able to learn more about those mediums also. After this year I definitely feel like a more successful drawer, but I want to step out of my comfort zone and try new things. This year I have also found an interest for prisma colored pencils. I think they are so much fun to use. I used them on a few projects but want to try them out more. I have learned more that I ever thought that I could in one year and I am so thankful for this class. I am excited to go off to college with all that I have learned and hopefully succeed in my art major as well. I could not have done any of this without a persistent and encouraging teacher. Thank you for all you do Mrs. Rossi. I will always remember this class and all that I have learned.
